Appliance installation
Microwave & appliance installation in Chicago
Over-the-range microwaves vented and hung right, and appliances set in kitchens and turnovers.
A new appliance is only as good as the install. We hang over-the-range microwaves, including cutting the cabinet above for the exhaust and cord, setting the vent adapter and connecting the duct, and we set appliances as part of kitchen installs and unit turnovers.

Over-the-range microwave install
A new Whirlpool over-the-range microwave hung above a gas range. We cut the cabinet above for the exhaust and power cord, set the vent adapter, ran and connected the duct, then mounted the unit level and tested it.

Full unit turnover
One building, top to bottom: fresh paint in every room, refinished hardwood, new LVP through the stairwell and landings, and a finished kitchen.
Questions
Can a microwave vent outside?
If there's a duct path to the outside, yes. If not, many over-the-range models can recirculate through a filter. Larry will look at your cabinet and wall on the walk-through.
Do I buy the appliance?
Usually, yes. You pick and buy the unit, and we install it. Have it on site before the install day.
Do you need an outlet above the range?
Over-the-range microwaves plug into an outlet, usually inside the cabinet above. If there isn't one, that has to be added first.
